Spotlight: Capable of smart form on turf, as when a close third in last season's Wokingham, and he took his AW record to 3-3 when readily seeing off five rivals in a Kempton conditions event last October (6f); sold out of Harry Charlton's yard for 320,000gns later that month; still has time to develop into a Pattern-race performer and it will be interesting to see how strong he is in the market after his break.

Spotlight: Won his first two starts, both over 6f at Newcastle; yet to win a handicap but he ran some mighty races in defeat last year, notably at Newcastle (behind Fivethousandtoone) and Doncaster; solid return from a three-month break at Newcastle (7f) 19 days ago; should go well.

Spotlight: He hasn't been with this yard long and he relished the return to sprinting when easily seeing off 12 rivals over C&D nine weeks ago (AW debut); up 7lb and drawn widest but foolish to think he isn't capable of better.

Spotlight: Did well last winter and carried the good work onto turf, winning at Windsor last June on his final run for Kevin Philippart De Foy; two good runs in defeat for his new stable this winter; Oisin Murphy booked and he is one to consider.

Spotlight: Two-time C&D winner; enjoyed the run of the race when winning the big sprint handicap on Good Friday but struggled on turf afterwards; more promise when a close fourth over C&D five weeks ago and handicapped to go well.

Spotlight: Useful 2yo who returned to form to win a five-runner handicap at Yarmouth in emphatic fashion in September (6f, good to soft; cheekpieces on for the first time; second run for James Tate); while that was visually impressive, the form hasn't worked out and a 6lb rise in this considerably stronger race asks a much stiffer question; AW debut.

Spotlight: Capable of smart sprint form in 2024, including on AW; only seen once in 2025 and that was a modest effort over C&D nine months ago; can go well fresh but perhaps a shade high in the weights on his return.

Spotlight: Not at his best on his last two starts but he had some strong handicap form in 2025, notably at Newcastle in August and York in October; on a dangerous mark and a big run could be forthcoming.

Spotlight: Comes into the race having won three of his last five starts; wouldn't want to miss the break back at 6f but he still has some handicapping scope.

Spotlight: Well suited by AW and his last two runs on Tapeta saw him win a good race at Newcastle in June and finish second in a Racing League handicap at Wolverhampton one month later; absent for 103 days but has the ability to go well off this mark.

Spotlight: Has been a smart sprinter on AW in his day but he ended 2024 tamely and took a while to find his feet last year; his Newcastle third last May was a good run but he has been absent since finishing last at Wolverhampton five months ago; dangerous mark if ready to go.

Spotlight: Won twice on AW early in her career before being highly tried; unplaced in three runs in France last winter; plenty to prove on stable debut after a 328-day absence.
